Then he flew forward. Brandy ran over to him. “Tom, are you okay?” “Yeah, I think so. Man that really hurt.” Brandy then helped him up, when he was up they were leaning against each other. Tom began to get really nervous. They looked into each other’s eyes and started to move closer eventually connecting lips. They were kissing when Tom stopped. Brandy looked at him confused. “What’s the matter?” “Isn’t this the part where you stop to say this is awkward that I am so much older then you?” “No, listen I know you’re older then me. But I don’t see you that way. Now get back here and kiss me.” “Okay.” She pulled him closer and they continued kissing. Tom then leaned Brandy against the tree forcing his body against hers, as their kiss got more passionate. Tom took his shirt off of Brandy and she had her hands all over his chest. She moved to his neck and started kissing it, then moved to his ears and started nibbling on them. “Man, that feels good.” “I try.” He just sort of laughed. While they continued they both heard a noise coming from afar. They both immediately separated and looked around. “Man, I hope no one saw us.” “I know.” They both casually gathered some more wood and brought it to the camp.
Later on there was some tree mail about the next reward challenge. They were going to have to do a scavenger hunt type of challenge. The first team to get all of the pieces would get to go on a nice cruise with showers, massage therapy, along with steak and beer.
Everyone met at the location of the challenge. They were then told the rules of the game. Then they got started. It was a pretty close match for most of it. Then it came down to each tribe only needing one. Tom and Bobby-Jon were the last two of their tribes to look. They both ran over to find the missing piece. After they both had found it, they ran back towards their areas. But Tom just beat Bobby-Jon. The KOROR tribe then celebrated.
KOROR were all on the yacht celebrating. They all were cleaned up considering they all went for the showers first. After the showers they were all at the table eating and having a good time.
When it came nighttime, both Tom and Brandy went on the bow of the boat. Everyone was sleeping away. They both smiled at each other, hugging and holding each other. Brandy looked into Tom’s eyes and smiled. “You did a really good job today Tom. I’m really proud of you.” “Thank you, Bobby-Jon put up a good fight.” “But you still did it.” She smiled and moved up kissing him. That night they both just held each other.
The next morning, the yacht arrived at the island. Ty immediately started cleaning and retrieving coconuts. They all had to prepare for the next challenge. No matter what, they were going to have to go to tribal council. Both Tom and Brandy were worried because by now the whole tribe had probably known about them being together and might want to break them up to save a very strong alliance and beating them all in the end.
They were all at tribal council awaiting Jeff to ask his traditional update questions. “So Tom, I think that no one couldn’t help but notice that there is something going on between you and Brandy?” “Ah, well something has been sparking between us.” “Oh really? You’ve been following in my footsteps?” “Yeah I guess so Jeff. I don’t know what it is about her. I’d probably say everything.” Brandy then started to blush. “What about you Brandy? I mean what so you see in an old wrinkly man who’s about fifteen years older then you?” Tom then started to laugh. “Actually Jeff I ask myself that all the time. But I think I’ve finally come up with a conclusion. He’s smart, funny, and in my opinion very good looking. I don know, I just find him very attractive. Oh, the age thing. I really couldn’t care. My mother was eleven years younger then my father. They’re still married today.” “Fair enough, what’s your favorite thing about Tom?” “Oh, definitely his New York accent. It is just the cutest thing ever.” Now Tom started to blush. “Well Tom, it looks like she likes you.” “Yeah Jeff, well I like her back.” “SO guys, are you finding this a threat?” They all basically said that they didn’t find it a threat. At least not yet they didn’t. But after everyone voted, Willard was the one to go.
They all returned to camp and wanted to get a good nights rest. Naturally Brandy put on Tom’s shirt and they cuddled to stay warm. She was lightly playing with his chest hairs as he was rubbing his hand on her shoulder kissing her forehead. “Brandy.” “Yeah Hun?” “What do you see in me?” she stopped and looked up at him. “Well, you are very smart, funny, good looking, very adorable. As or you New York accent? Well, that is the cutest thing about you. Now do me a favor and raise your confidence level for me please. Because you are one of the sexiest ands sweetest guys I have ever known.” She then leaned up and softly kissed him on the lips. She then climbed completely on top of him kissing him passionately. Tom started to moan. “MMMM, do you have any idea what you are doing to me?” she paused for a second. “Oh, I have a slight possibility.” She smiled as she started to remove her clothing, including Tom’s shirt. She helped him take off his swimming trunks. He rolled her over climbing on top of her as they connected. They started to move together back and fourth. Brandy started to moan as Tom kissed her trying to keep her quiet so the other tribe members being only a few feet away couldn’t hear them. They continued their motion until eventually cuddling and falling asleep in each other’s arms.
The next morning, Tom was out in the ocean washing up when Brandy was out retrieving coconuts with Jenn. “Hey Brandy did you bring that long pole thingy so we could catch the coconuts?” “No, I forgot it. I can climb the tree though.” “Oh, okay.” At that moment, Tom was out of the ocean and was at a place where he was able to hear them talking. He stopped and made himself out of sight when he first heard Brandy’s voice. “So Brandy?” “Yeah Jenn?” “Do you seriously like Tom? Or are you saying you like him? I just can’t see how. I mean you could get a guy who is much younger, better looking, and...Can actually perform without using viagra.” Brady just sort of laughed. She wanted so much to tell Jenn that Tom could perform, and was good at it too. “Well Jenn, I don’t really look at it like that. I think he could handle himself just fine personally. As for who I can get? I personally think I’m lucky to have Tom. I mean he’s smart strong he could keep me safe. Tom couldn’t help but smile at what she said. Tom and Gregg were fixing up the fort when Brandy was on her way back from getting the coconuts. She could hear Tom’s voice and stopped. “So Tom, how the hell did a guy like you get a girl like that?” I mean how do you know she’s not using you to get further in the game?” “I just know Gregg, I trust her. She’s a sweet girl.” “Do you plan on seeing her after the show is over?” “Yeah, I do.” “Man you really like her don’t you?” “Yeah, in fact I don’t think I’ve felt like this about someone since my ex-wife.” “Wow, that’s really saying something.” “Well, what can I say?”

Love so Close, Yet So Far chapter 2

They were all at camp settling down. Tom and Brandy, along with Ian, another friendly tribe member. Were all gathering some wood to start a shelter. Brandy was walking with a bunch of wood when she accidentally dropped some. Tom was behind her and picked up the pieced she dropped. “Thanks Tom.” “It’s amazing how you can carry that much.” “Hey, I told you I wasn’t a weakling.” “I officially believe you.” “Thank you.” They both smiled at each other. Ian couldn’t help but notice the look in Tom’s eyes. He definitely had a thing going for Brandy.
It was a few days later and it was the first reward challenge. They were all at the site and Jeff explained the rules of the challenge. The winning tribe would get some needed supplies and some blankets. Everyone got where they needed to go. Jeff said to go and everyone went. They were all screaming and running around. KOROR mostly had the lead. But near the end ULONG caught up. They tried to get the lead. But KOROR was able to keep it and win the challenge.
Later that night KOROR had finally started a fire and everyone was going out and talking. It was a very cold night. Brandy was over working on the shelter keeping her as warm as she could. She then walked over to everyone and quickly caught on to the conversation. Tom looked over at her and noticed that she was shivering. He had one of the blankets wrapped around his back. He lifted his arms as if welcoming her to join him under the warm blanket. She scooted closer and they cuddle to stay warm as they continued the conversation with everyone else. A couple of other tribe members looked over at Tom and Brandy and found it suspicious. But it was all good. They were just happy that they not only won the reward challenge, but he immunity challenge as well. They were all at the camp settling down. Tom and Brandy, along with Ian another nice member of the tribe were all gathering some wood to start building on the shelter. Brandy was walking with a bunch of wood when she accidentally dropped a couple pieces. Tom was behind her and picked up the wood that she dropped. “Thanks Tom.” “It’s amazing how you can carry that much. That was a lot of wood.” “Hey, I told you I wasn’t a weakling.” “I officially believe you.” “Thank you.” They both smiled at each other. Ian couldn’t help but notice the look in Tom’s eyes. He definitely had to have a thing for Brandy.
It was a few days later and it was the first reward challenge. They were all at the site and Jeff explained the rules of how the challenge went. The one tribe to win would get some needed supplies and a couple of blankets.
Everyone got where they needed to go. Jeff said go and they all started. Everyone was screaming and running around. KOROR mostly had the lead. But near the end of the challenge, ULONG tried to catch up, but they couldn’t quite get it. KOROR ended up winning the challenge.
Later that night LOROR had finally started a fire and everyone s hanging out and talking. It was a really cold night. Brandy was working over to everyone and quickly caught on to the conversation. Tom looked over at her and noticed she was shivering. He had one of the blankets wrapped around his back. He lifted his arm as if welcoming her to join him with the warm blanket. She scooted closer and they were cuddling to stay warm and continued the conversation with everyone else. A couple of the other tribe members looked at Tom and Brandy and found it suspicious. But it was all good. They were all just relieved that they won the immunity challenge as well.
It was the next morning Tom and Ian were gathering some more wood. Meanwhile back at the half made shelter, Brandy was just getting up. “Hey Tom?” “Yeah Ian?” “Do you like Brandy?” “…What?” “Do you like Brandy? I know you do.” “Oh come on Ian.” Tom’s cheeks started to blush. “It’s okay Tom, I understand. I don’t think you’re the only one. I think just about every guys on this island likes her.” “Oh come on Ian, it’s not like that.” “Whatever man.”
They both walked over and grabbed tree mail. They then walked back and made sure everyone was together to read it. It talked about the next Reward challenge. They were going to pick two people from each tribe and they were going to be at the end of the relay. There was a series of little levels until one of the last two tribe members would carry another on their back, run across a two foot wide hundred foot long bean and then jump off. Then both would have to swim to the floating plat form that was fifty feet away. Bother members of each tribe to make it first, would win the challenge. The challenge is five bottles of wire and some pizzas.
Tom was going to carry Brandy over the beam because he was the strongest on the KOROR tribe and she was the lightest one who would probably swim the fastest. So everyone got in his or her places. Each member of each tribe was eventually running. Ian got to Tom and Brandy, and tagged them. They were barely ahead of Stephanie and Bobby-Jon. They were both going, both in the ocean swimming to the platform. But in the end, Tom and Brandy both just made it. They both climbed onto the platform and celebrated. Both of them hugged and jumped up and down.
They all went back to their tribe where they discovered the wine and pizza awaiting them. They all set up a fire and celebrated. They were all having a great time. But Brandy soon discovered that Tom had too much to drink. He was feeling a little tipsy and fell down the ground. Brandy ran over to him and helped him over to his sleeping area. She took his shirt and dunked it in water and dabbed it on his forehead to help keep him conscious.
The next morning, Brandy woke up and looked over at Tom. There he was snoring away. Brandy just kind of laughed and kneeled right next to him. She lightly patted him on the cheek with the back of her hand slowly waking him up. “Hey there, good morning Tom.” “Hello, what happened?” “You got drunk, fell over so I took you to your bed and helped you to go to sleep.” “Oh, thank you.” “No problem, now get up. You’re supposed to teach me how to catch some fish today.” “Alright.” Tom struggled to get up and they then grabbed the fishing gear.
They both were out in the ocean. Tom was teaching Brandy on how to catch a fish. They were laughing together and having a good rime. Meanwhile Coby and Janu were sitting together observing. “I can’t believe those two Janu.” “What?” “Tom and Brandy, I swear to god those two have something going on.” “Are you serious?” “Oh come on, look at them. They are always together, talking, laughing, and flirting. There had to be something done about this.” “What are you going to do?” “Stir things up.”
They all were walking back from the immunity challenge. Once again, KOROR managed to stay ahead. They just couldn’t be beat. They had a really strong power to them. All of them were really tired to they all decided to go to bed early. Brandy kept swarming back and fourth all night. It had to have been one of the coldest nights. Brandy was shivering when se head someone call her name. She looked over to see Tom. “Hey, are you cold?” “Freezing.” “Here’s my shirt.” Brandy took his shirt and put it on. She smiled at him. He then lifted his arm. This blanket had room for two if you want.” “…Okay, the body heat will probably help.” She scooted next to him. He put his arm around her covering them both up. Then she rested her head on his chest. Soon after, they both fell asleep.

Love So Close, Yet So Far chapter 1

“Brandy, it’s time to go!” “No Kel, I’m not going!” “Oh come on, not all blind dates are bad. It’s just…” “Just what?” There was a moment of silence when Brandy walked down the stairs of the house her sister Kelly and her shared.
She stood at 5’7’, 130 lbs, long wavy light brown hair, and a sweet smile. “Listen Kelly, I just don’t know what to so anymore. I mean, it always turns out bad in the end. I just don’t think I understand guys, and what they think.” “Oh come on Brandy, just take it one day at a time. You’re twenty-six years old. You still have a couple more years to have a little fun.” “Kel, whether I’m trying to find a real relationship or just have fun. It just never seems to last or anything.” “Well, what do you want?” “…Sometimes, I want to disappear. Go away for a while. You know what they say. You can find no love close, but far away.” “Well, you’re moving to New York in a few months. That’s far away isn’t it?”
Two Months Later
Brandy was opening up her mail when she got a letter of audition from CBS’s hit series, Survivor. “Um, Kel!” “Yeah?” Kel ran down the stairs and looked at Brandy with concern. “What’s the matter?” “I for some reason got some letter from Survivor.” “Oh my god, are you serious? It actually worked?” “What worked?” “Oh, I sent in an application for you to be on the show.” “What?” “Well, you said you wanted to disappear.” “Survivor? Okay, that’s just weird.” “Well, how many people are being auditioned?” “Only fifty…oh man, do you think I should actually do this?” “Totally.” “Oh god, what if I actually make it?” “I know, that would be so cool.”
One Month Later
All the castaways were just entering the island. For the past month, Brandy had been anticipating as to what was going to happen to her after she was picked to be one of the twenty to be on the island of Palau. She didn’t know how hard it was going to be, if she was going to win, or perhaps…find a love? After utter panic she finally calmed her self down and got more prepared mentally for this opportunity, yet it still was going to be hard for her.
They were all walking around and getting to know each other. After an hour, they all probably knew each other. Then Jeff approached them all. “Okay everyone, the first two cast members as you know where eliminated just recently. But in this bucket will be the fate as to the tribe you will be in. In this bucket it holds nine brown buffs representing the KOROR tribe, and there are also nine light blue buffs representing the ULONG tribe. One by one, you will draw one determining your tribe.
Everyone was going up and picking a tribe. It was now Brandy’s turn. At that point, there was one of each buff left. She reached in pulling out a KOROR buff. Al the guys on the KOROR tribe took a sigh of relief knowing that they had the more athletic looking person on their tribe. But left was an elderly woman who would then be put on the ULONG tribe. They were all walking to their camp. Brandy was beginning to feel the reality and was starting to get scared. She started to lightly cry to herself when she felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned around to see another member from her tribe. He was about six feet tall, light gray hair, early forties, good looking. “Hey, are you alright?” she couldn’t help but notice his New York accent. “Yeah, I think so. I’m just a little scared is all.” “Oh, well don’t worry about it too much. I’m sure you’ll be fine.” “I hope so, I mean it’s not like I’m a little weakling. I just don’t know what to expect. I hope people don’t hate me.” “Don’t worry, you seem like a likable person to me.” “Thanks Tom.” “Oh wow, you actually remembered my name.” “Yeah, Tom the fireman right?” “Yeah, is it Brandy?” “Yep, that’s me. Nice to meet you Tom.” “You too Brandy. So what exactly motivates you to win the million?” “Actually, my sister sent in an application for me. Then I made the fifty-person audition. Now, here I am. But I guess I’ll just use the money to help me get settled in New York. I just moved there a few weeks ago.” “Oh, you live in New York also?” “Yeah, in Brooklyn.” “Oh wow, I live practically in Brooklyn. My ladder company is there.” “That’s cool, well I’ll make sure that you especially save me from a fire if I happen to get in one. But yeah, what about you and the money?” “Well, I hope to help out in some charities that my daughter is involved in.” “Oh, what happened? If you don’t mind me asking.” “She was deaf at about the age of eighteen months.” “Oh, I’m sorry.” “No, it’s okay. She’s in the third grade kicking butt.” “Well, that’s great. So you have your wife taking care of her now?” “Well, actually we divorced, but she’s back in New York taking care of Meghan, Declan, and Conor. Those are my three kids.” “Oh, how sweet. Do you get along with her well?” “Yeah, we’re actually better as friends.” “Well, that’s good. I’m glad everything worked out for you all.” “So do you have any kids?” “No, I’m only twenty-six. Hell I’m lucky at this point to find a serious relationship. Which by the way I’m having bad luck in as of late.” Oh, that’s not very good. I’m sorry to hear that. I think that any guy would be lucky to have you.” “…Thanks you Tom.” He just smiled nervously. “…Hey, I was wondering something.” “What?” “Let’s make an alliance right now. You and me to the final two.” “I like that plan.
